Vendors sought
PUTNAM — Tractor Supply Company is looking for farmers, crafters and artisans to sell their homemade and homegrown goods at its spring Farmers Market scheduled for May 13.
Collectors, crafters and growers with interests in everything from homemade crafts and candles to baked goods, carvings, flowers and produce are encouraged to sign up. To register, vendors can visit TSCEventPartners.com or visit their Tractor Supply store. Nonprofit organizations are also encouraged to register.
During the Farmers Market on May 13, vendors will be able showcase their goods, free of charge, in areas near the storefront.

The Electors and Citizens qualified to vote in the Putnam Special Services District, Town of Putnam, Connecticut are hereby notified and warned that the Annual District Meeting of said District will be Held at the Putnam Middle School Auditorium, 35 Wicker Street, Putnam, CT. on the First Day of May, 2017, at 7:30 P.M. for the following purposes:
1. To choose a Moderator.
2. To Consider and Act upon the recommendations of the District Authority Board that Appropriations Be made for the Fiscal Year Budget in the total amount of $3,520,638.00 for the period beginning July 1, 2017 and ending June 30, 2018, and to make such Appropriations as are advisable.
3. To do any other business proper to come before such Meeting.

Golfer signs
Woodstock Academy senior Daniel Harrington has been accepted and has signed with NCAA Division II Chestnut Hill College to play golf for the Griffins. promotions announced
PUTNAM — Charter Oak Federal Credit Union announced several promotions including one in Putnam.
Killian Frazier was promoted to branch manager.
She began her career with Charter Oak in May 2013 as a member service representative in the Dayville Branch.
Frazier was promoted to head teller in May 2014, assistant branch manager in September 2015, and branch supervisor in December 2015.
Frazier is a graduate of Killingly High School and is the manager of Charter Oak’s Putnam and Willimantic branches.
