at ECSU
WILLIMANTIC — Eastern Connecticut State University recently hosted its annual Scholarship Reception in the Fine Arts Instructional Center. Honored were:
Kimberly Fafard ’17 of N. Grosvenordale was selected as the recipient of one of the presigious scholarships. Fafard’s major is Business Information Systems.
Matthew Harrington ’17 of Woodstock Valley was selected as the recipient of one of the presigious scholarships. Harrington’s major is Health Sciences.
Emily John ’18 of Woodstock Valley was selected as the recipient of one of the presigious scholarships. John’s major is Theatre.
Ashley Leighton ’17 of Woodstock was selected as the recipient of one of the presigious scholarships. Leighton’s major is Economics.
Brandon Martins ’17 of Danielson was selected as the recipient of one of the presigious scholarships. Martins’s major is Psychology.
Halie Poirier ’18 of Putnam was selected as the recipient of one of the presigious scholarships. Poirier’s major is Music.
Gabrielle Reynolds ’17 of Dayville was selected as the recipient of one of the presigious scholarships. Reynolds’s major is Economics and Finance.
Bonuses made
WATERFORD — Charter Oak Federal Credit Union awarded over $487,000 in annual $100 cash bonuses to its Gold Rewards members in December, which is the largest one-time bonus payout in the program’s history.
Since 2010, when the member-appreciation program began, Charter Oak has paid out more than $2.5 million. When Gold Rewards first began seven years ago, a total of 2,590 members received their annual $100 bonus. In 2016, Charter Oak paid out $100 annual bonuses to 4,873 members.
