Musical Visit
Members of the Modern Music Ensemble of Tourtellotte Memorial High School recently performed for Westview residents in Dayville. Kate Anderson, music director, accompanied the 11-piece troupe consisting of nine seniors and two sophomores. The students arrived with various instruments including a cajón, a six-sided percussion box, as well as a djembe, a skin-covered goblet drum.”Music heals,” said David T. Panteleakos, administrator. “The energy and talent that these students have shared with us goes far beyond entertainment.
