Rotary District 7890 Governor Kyong Wilson, left, visited the Putnam Rotary Club last week. She praised the Putnam club members for all their enthusiasm and the work they accomplish. She noted that the Putnam club is well known in the district for its hard-work. She also urged the club to make sure it inspires the local youth, the leaders of tomorrow. President’s list
BANGOR, Maine — Two local students were named to the Husson University Spring 2015 President’s List: Gregory Pike of Pomfret Center and Kristin Loghry of Pascoag.
Medal Winner
Shannon Fagan of Putnam, recently brought home gold and silver placing at the 2015 USA Roller Sports National Championship held in Albuquerque. She placed first in Sophomore A loop and second in Sophomore A figure events. Shannon is the daughter of Shawn and Deanne Fagan and is currently a senior at Putnam High School. She skates for the Plainfield Figure Skating club at Skate Inn in Plainfield. Her coaches, Tom Beebe, Lynnette Cassio and Christina Scott, work with her in three different disciplines Dance, Figure and Loops.
