The Electors and Citizens qualified to vote in District Meeting of the Town of Putnam Special Services District, are hereby notified and warned that a Special Meeting of said District will be held at the Putnam Fire Station, 189 Church Street, Putnam, Connecticut, on the 11th Day of October, 2016, at 6:30 p.m. in the evening for the following purposes:
1. To choose a Moderator.
2. Consider and Act upon a recommendation of the District Authority Board that the District Authority be authorized to enter into lease purchase agreements for two new 2017 Ford Interceptor AWD utility vehicles and two new 2017 Ford Fusion SE police vehicles, each with police equipment and upfits, substantially in accordance with a certain proposal dated September 15, 2016, copies of which “municipal lease-to-own” is on file in the office of the Putnam Special Services District Office and available for public inspection during normal business hours. The net amount to be financed is $110,575.00 and the District Authority is hereby authorized to determine the specific details of the lease including the term, which shall not exceed five (5) years.

Application # 2016-03: Wheelabrator Putnam Inc. – Activity Buffer/Setback Area – Commercial/Industrial Uses - Construction of an area for the second stage system to rinse and sort a portion of the recyclable metals presently extracted by the existing on-site metals recovery operation with the construction of a truck scale system to weigh incoming and outgoing trucks.
