Betty Denomme from Dayville retired from Westview Health Care Center after 27 years of service. Denomme was employed in the Support Services Department and worked as a Housekeeping Assistant. She received awards, praise and accolades from Administrator David T. NORWICH — CorePlus Federal Credit Union, headquartered in Norwich, appointed Credit Union Member Richard J. Pascal, Esq. to its Supervisory Committee on July 13.
He established the law firm of Attorney Richard J. Pascal, LLC in February of 2016 for business clients and individuals’ legal needs. Most recently, he had been a Partner at Block, Janney and Pascal, LLC in Norwich.
He received his Juris Doctorate in 1987 from The National Law Center at George Washington University. He graduated in 1981 from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. Degree in Accounting.
Pascal has been a resident of Norwich since 1989. He is a Board member of the Norwich Rotary and the Norwich Hebrew Benevolent Association, and is a corporator of The Johnson Home.
PUTNAM — Matthew S. Sosik, president and CEO of CNB, a division of bankESB, announced the promotion of Matthew LaFlamme.
LaFlamme joined the bank in February of 2015 as an assistant branch manager. He has been promoted to branch supervisor in the Killingly office.
LaFlamme oversees the daily operations and workflow of the office. He is also responsible for developing new customer relationships and expanding existing customer relationships.
LaFlamme is currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in business administration at Eastern Connecticut State University. He is also working on a Financial Services Management Diploma through CFT.
LaFlamme has been involved in the CNB Turkey Trot, the Rotaract Trivia Night, is a “bank of Community” volunteer committee member and is treasurer of the Killingly Business Association.
He lives in Chaplin.
