Begins college
CASTLETON, Vt. — Castleton University welcomed Olivia Perry of Woodstock Valley to the Castleton community. Perry is one of more than more 600 new students who have registered for the fall 2018 semester.
MOOSUP — A Plainfield man was arrested on heroin charges after a traffic stop Sept. 17
Shane Ingelsby, 31, of 28 Second St., was charged with possession of heroin and violation of probation.
Members of the Troop D – Quality of Life Task Force conducted a motor vehicle stop on a 2011 Chevrolet Malibu after Troopers spotted Ingelsby in the car. Troopers recognized Ingelsby and knew he had an active arrest warrant for violation of probation. During the arrest, Troopers found numerous wax paper bags of heroin.
