Zoning Commission
The Town of Putnam Zoning Commission will hold a meeting on February 17, 2010, at 7:00 P.M. at the Town Hall located at 126 Church Street, Putnam, CT. A public hearing will be held on each of the following:
Docket # 2009-10: Town of Putnam Zoning Commission -- Request for an amendment to the Town of Putnam Zoning Regulations Article X Signs - Section 1001 – Definitions, Section 1003-1 & 2 Signs Prohibited in all Zoning Districts.
Docket # 2010-01: Sisters of St. Martha Corporation -- Request for an amendment to the Town of Putnam Zoning Regulations Section 720 to permit by Special Exception a convent or monastery in an R-10 zone. Article II Definition - Section 200-2, Section 1111-1 Minimum Off - Street Parking.
Docket #2010-02: Michaela Davis -- Request for a Special Permit according to Section 720 of the Zoning Regulations to allow a restaurant in a C-2 Zone. Property located at 170 Providence Street. Town Assessor's Map 8, Lot 165. Zoned C-2.
Docket # 2010-03: Robert Denton (Beano’s Bait & Tackle) -- Request for a Special Permit according to Section 720 of the Town of Putnam Zoning Regulations for a Bait and Tackle Shop including sales of live and fake fishing bait, hooks, sinkers, lures, bobbers, fishing poles and tackle boxes. Property located at 195 Providence Street. Town Assessor's Map 8, Lot 133-1. Zoned C-2.

Town Meeting
February 16, 2010
The Electors and Citizens qualified to vote in the Town Meeting of the Town of Putnam, Connecticut, are hereby notified and warned that a Town Meeting of said Town will be held at Daniel S. Rovero Chambers, Town Hall, 126 Church Street, Putnam, Connecticut, on Tuesday, February 16, 2010, at 7:30 o'clock in the evening for the following purposes:
1. To choose a moderator for said meeting.
2. To determine the wishes of those present and eligible to vote at Town Meeting of the Town of Putnam on the following proposed Resolution:
RESOLVED, That the Mayor and Board of Selectmen of the Town are hereby authorized to accept three (3) roads located on the westerly side of Route 21 in the Putnam Heights Section of the Town of Putnam. The first road is Paula Road consisting of 1,550 feet, more or less, the second road is Decubellis Court, 500 feet, more or less in length, and the third road is Columbus Road, consisting of 850 feet, more or less in length. All said roadways are shown on a certain plan or map entitled a "Roadway As-Built Survey, "Paula Place Subdivision" Columbus Road and Decubellis Court and Paula Road prepared for Jans Developing Company, LLC SCALE: 1" = 40' Dated: 10/20/2008 - Provost & Rovero, Inc.," a copy of which map is on file in the Mayor's Office and available for public inspection during normal business hours.
