Dairy Exhibit
WOODSTOCK --- "Farmers, Cows and the Land," an exhibition about the modern history of dairy farming in Connecticut, is on display at the Roseland Cottage carriage barn through Oct. 15, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays. Free.
Puppetry Exhibit

Flu Vaccination
PUTNAM --- The Northeast District Department of Health will conduct a flu vaccination clinic for children and adults from 4 to 6 p.m. at Putnam Supermarket on Providence Street. Shots are $30, no appointment needed.

Corn Maze
POMFRET --- The Pomfret Recreation Department's Corn Maze, "Mezmer Eyes," is open from noon to 6 p.m. through Oct. 30. Fright Nights are Oct. 29 and 30. The maze is near the town's recreation field off Rt. 97. Benefits the PCS 8th grade class.
Fund-raiser Walk
POMFRET --- The 3rd Annual Abolish Breast Cancer 5K Race/Walk will begin at 9 a.m. Registration at 7:30 a.m. Endorsed by The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute to benefit breast cancer research. Registrations received by Sept. 17 is $15 for adults and $10 for youth 17 and under. After September it will be $20 for adults. Registrations received by September 17 get a T-shirt. Pledges to Dana-Farber (DFCI) are encouraged but not required. With $75 in pledges the registration fee will be waived.
