7 are honored
N. GROSVENORDALE --- At a recent ceremony, the St. Joseph's school "family" honored seven citizens who have contributed selflessly to the community. Plaques were presented to: Gary and Karen Osbrey from WINY radio; TEEG Executive Director Donna Grant; Thompson Children's’ Librarian Kim Flynn; Knights of Columbus 2087 Grand Knight Richard Birch; St. Joseph Food Pantry Coordinator Sr. Janine Blanchard; and St. Joseph Church Bingo Coordinator Jackie Lajoie.
Principal Briere enjoyed recognizing all of them and said, “These seven people do so much for the Thompson area and St. Joseph School that I thought it would be great if they could be recognized with many of the St. Joseph family present.”
