Michael W. Madden, CEO of Oak Knoll Builders and Fire Extinguisher Services of New England, has become the newest member of Habitat for Humanity of Northeast Connecticut’s board of directors.
Madden is a fourth generation builder who currently serves on the board of advisers to the carpentry shop at H.H. Ellis Technical School in Danielson and is a former member of the school committee for Assabet Valley Region Vocational Technical School in Massachusetts.
He lives in Woodstock with his wife, Heather, and two children, Michael and Jessica.
Mr. Madden said he is “happy to join Habitat’s board” where he can share his knowledge, skills and experience as a builder and “to help with decisions concerning land purchases and construction issues. My main objective is to help people attain the ownership of their own home and pay forward blessings that have been bestowed upon me.”
