'Egg'tremely Fun
The Pomfret Recreation Commission's Easter Egg Hunt at Wolf Den State Park saw about 200 people hunting for 2000 eggs. The Young Marines helped hide the plastic eggs filled with jelly beans in four fields. All the eggs were found in about 25 minutes. Those who found special eggs and won a prize include: Ages 1-3 winners: Ryan Burdick & Annabelle Boorky ; ages 4 & 5 winners: Jonathan Eddy & Maxtin Hart; ages 6 & 7 winners: Zachary Stolarek and Allison Macalister; ages 8-10 winners: Noah Macalister and Thomas Bergendahl .
