PUTNAM — Putnam Bank recently recognized and celebrated the accomplishments of its employees at its annual employee awards ceremony.
The awards, selected from nominations made by Putnam Bank employees, were presented by Chairman and CEO Thomas Borner.
“There are many people who go above and beyond to provide our customers with exceptional service, and there are equally as many people who work quietly and diligently behind the scenes to ensure the smooth operation of the bank,” said Borner.
Linda Brule won the 2011 Salesperson of the Year Award, given to an individual who demonstrates superior sales success.
Brule has been in the banking business for more than 35 years and has been with Putnam Bank since 1999.
Tonya Brock was the Spirit of Putnam Bank Award, given to an employee who demonstrates the spirit of community banking.
Kim Conroy earned the Chairman’s Award and Leah Barry was honored with the Customer Hero Award for outstanding customer service.
The bank also recognized the following employees with longevity Service Awards: 20 years – Barbara Goloski.
15 years – John LaFountain, Sandra Maciag and Sherry Greene.
10 years – Richard (Kevin) Hicks, Rochelle (Rockie) Alix, Donna Glaude, Mary Johnson, Louise Ciaramello, Cheryl Mailhot, Katie Kovacik and Barbara Elliott.
5 years – Elizabeth Farnum, Nancy Kurek, Laura DiCarlo, Nickolas Mainville, Elizabeth Shalvey, Kathleen Jensen and Richard Young.
