Recognized
WILLIMANTIC --- Elizabeth Swan of Woodstock '12, was one of the Eastern Connecticut State University theatre students and their productions that were recognized at the annual Region I Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival in Fitchburg, Mass. Swan's major is English.

Inducted
WILLIMANTIC --- Taylor Renaud of Pomfret Center, Class of 2012, a communications major at Eastern Connecticut State University was inducted into the Tau Nu Chapter of Lambda Pi Eta.

Honored
WORCESTER --- Lauren Merritt of N. Grosvenordale, a freshman, was named to the high honors list for the third quarter at Holy Name Central Catholic Junior/Senior High School.

WILLIMANTIC --- Twenty-four business majors at Eastern Connecticut State University were inducted into Delta Mu Delta, the international honor society for business administration. Local students inducted include: Sara Glynn, '11, of Dayville, majoring in business administration; Destiny Taylor, '11, of Putnam, majoring in Accounting.

WILLIMANTIC --- Ashley Joy Harrington of Pomfret was one of the graduate students at  Eastern inducted into the Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society.

KEENE, N.H. --- Three local students graduated from Keene State College, receiving bachelor's degrees: Elizabeth Allaire of Dayville, Mandi Bowden of Dayville, and Lisa McNally of Woodstock.
