Graduates
WORCESTER --- Two local students received degrees from Clark University May 22, 2011:  Jeffrey Michael Klusek, of Woodstock, graduated with a Master of Business Administration. Klusek is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma. Also, Christina Sue Gregorzek, of Thompson, graduated with a Master of Business Administration.

Gets degree
FAIRFIELD --- Jenny Lussier of Putnam was awarded the degree of Master of Arts in teaching May 14, 2011 at Sacred Heart University's Commencement.

On dean's list
BURLINGTON, Vt. --- Several local students were named to the dean's list for the spring 2011 semester at the University of Vermont: Riley F. Quinn of Dayville,  sophomore business administration major; Will D. Charron of Eastford, sophomore music education major; Benjamin R. Morrisette of Woodstock, a first-year English major.

On dean's list
GETTYSBURG, Penn. --- Paul Kramarz of Pomfret Center, a junior at Gettysburg College, has been placed on the deans' commendation list for outstanding academic achievement in the spring 2011.

Gets degree
BOSTON --- Danielson resident Ronald J. Ashmore received a bachelor's degree in criminal justice (with high honors) at the May 6, 2011, commencement at Northeastern University.

SPRINFIELD, Mass. --- Ian W. Colwell of S. Woodstock, received a bachelor's in business administration from Western New England College.

WEST HAVEN --- Three local students graduated from the University of New Haven on May 15, 2011: Krista Divincenzo of Putnam, received a bachelor's in biotechnology; Krista Divincenzo of Putnam, bachelor's in forensic science; Justin Sinha of Putnam, bachelor's in criminal justice.

MANCHESTER --- Lynnette Marie Nieves-Velazquez of Pomfret was awarded an associate's degree at  Manchester Community College's recent commencement.

On dean's list
SMITHFIELD, R.I. --- Several local students were named to the spring semester dean's list at Bryant University: Alicia Brennan, Pomfret Center, a senior, international business in marketing; Chelsea Greene, Putnam, senior, applied psychology; Brian Peters, Putnam, senior, computer information systems; Tyler White, Putnam, senior, marketing; Zachary Putnam, Thompson, senior, management.

Wins award
COLCHESTER, Vt. ---  Sara Morrow of Woodstock, a student at Marianapolis Preparatory School, was named the 2011 recipient of the Saint Michael's College Book Award for Academic Achievement with a Social Conscience. Morrow was presented the book "First They Killed My Father: A Daughter of Cambodia Remembers" by Loung Ung, a 1993 Saint Michael's College graduate.

Honored
SCRANTON, Penn. --- Jacqueline L. Sembor of Thompson was named to the dean's list at the University of Scranton for the spring 2011 semester. Sembor is a sophomore communication major.
