PUTNAM — The Putnam Business Association will present Putnam’s 3rd Annual Scarecrow Contest as part of
The Great Pumpkin Festival Oct. 22. All are welcome to participate.
Individuals or groups are eligible to enter in one of the following categories: Youth (ages 15 & under, no help from adults, please); Individuals (ages 16 & older); Artist; Group (scout troops, classrooms, neighbors, friends, etc.); Business.
The setup deadline is Oct. 19.
The scarecrow contest will take place throughout town.
Applications and rules are available from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. at WINY Radio Station; by calling 774-2827 or 860-928-0025 and ask for Linda or at The Arc Emporium, 160 Main St.
A PBA Committee of judges will score the entrees on the basis of creativity,
use of materials, and theme.
