PUTNAM — Representatives from Putnam Bank were among the mini golfers who helped raise money for the Backus Hospital Auxiliary.
Carrie Szymanski, Barbara Elliott, Lynn Brodeur and Joyce McOsker, from Putnam Bank took part in the Backus Hospital Auxiliary Mini Golf Tournament hosted by the Odetah Camping Resort in Bozrah.
The money raised helps the Auxiliary meet its mission of providing special comfort items to cancer and pediatric patients and awarding scholarships for high school students pursuing post-secondary study in a medical field. The Auxiliary also provides financial contributions to The William W. Backus Hospital to support various projects.
