PUTNAM --- Jan. 9 Karate Master Instructor Mike Bogdanski held an anti-bully assembly at Putnam Elementary School.
The program, called “HERO” (help everyone respect others), was given to more than 300 third, fourth and fifth graders. The assembly helps children identify what bullying is and and empowers bystanders to stick up for kids that are being bullied.
Mike is an internationally acclaimed anti bully expert and has given assembles and workshops to thousands of students,parents and teachers throughout the U.S. and Canada. Mike is the co-owner of Quest Martial Arts and Midtown Fitness in Putnam and has been recognized with a “Mike Bogdanski Day” in Connecticut.
