Ribbon Cutting
Day Kimball Healthcare’s new Putnam Healthcare Center celebrated its opening with a ribbon cutting at the Northeastern Connecticut Chamber of Commerce’s January Business After Hours event with nearly 200 in attendance. The Putnam Healthcare Center is a state-of-the-art facility offering Physical Medicine and Blood Draw Services and is also home to Franklin Home Health. Robert E. Smanik, DKH president and CEO said to attendees, “We are proud that in constructing the new Putnam Healthcare Center we have provided easy access for our patients. And, by renovating a vacant downtown building, we have helped to improve the streetscape in Putnam.” Left to right: Dick Loomis, DKH board member; Rochelle Alix, DKH board member; Suzanne Franklin, former owner of Franklin Home Health; Jack Burke, DKH board chairman; Robert E.
