PSA: 5 straight wins
POMFRET — Feb. 16 Shaun Lawton recorded 22 points, six rebounds, three assists and three steals in Putnam Science Academy’s fifth straight victory, beating Pomfret, 65-47.
Keon Scott had 15 points and eight rebounds for the Mustangs (18-7). Dayshon Smith added 14 points and Oscar Assie added 12 points and 7 rebounds. Joshua Smiley led the Griffins (7-13) with 14 points. Feb. 13 the Mustangs beat McDuffie 72-58. Dayshon Smith scored 23 points to go with seven steals, seven rebounds and three assists in the home win. Shawn Lawton added 15 points, six assists and six steals. Keon Scott had 13 points and six rebounds for the Mustangs (16-8) who are winners of their last four.
Oscar Assie added 12 points and Arif Mehmedobic added nine points for PSA.
