WOODSTOCK — At its recent annual meeting, the Woodstock Volunteer Fire Association elected the following officers:
Fire Officers: Chief – Tim Young; Deputy Chief – Mike Dougherty; Captain – George Molnar; Lieutenants – David Chrzan, Jonathan Roy, Lucas Young, Eric Young (2nd); Safety Officer – Steve Child.
EMS Officers: EMS Captain – Sue Calaman; EMS Lieutenants – Iris Arsenault, Don Chrzan, Steve Jorjorian (2nd).
Association officers: President – Scott Hazelton; Vice President – Jonathon Roy; Secretary – Deb Pratt; Treasurer – Deanna Chrzan; Finance – Russ Downer; House – Jeff Kimball, George Molnar, Carl St. Jean; Membership – Dave Chrzan, Mary Jane Dougherty, Steve Jorjorian. Public Relations – Erica Chrzan, Steve Jorjorian, Karen Munroe. Support team: Chairman - Mary Jane Dougherty; Vice Chairman - Karen Munroe; Secretary - Peggy Ask.
In the previous year, the association responded to a total of 153 incidents: 29 Fires; 38 Rescue; 23 Hazardous Condition (No Fire); 36 Service Calls/Alarms; 3 Good Intent; 1 Malicious Call; and 13 Mutual Aid (9 Fires, 4 Rescue). The Woodstock Emergency Medical Services received 423 requests for ambulance service and responded to 398, with 25 handled by mutual aid responders.
