Food drive March 17
PUTNAM — There will be a food drive for northeastern Connecticut’s needy at the WINY radio station from 8 a.m. to noon March 17. Sponsored by WINY, Boy Scout Troop 21 and the Knights of Columbus, all proceeds will benefit the non-profit Project Northeast, to assist people in need throughout all of northeastern Connecticut.
Please bring your non-perishable food items and monetary donations to help your neighbors in need. If you can’t get there in person, you can mail a check, made out to “Project Northeast,” to Fr. Richard Archambault, Project Northeast, 81 Church Street, Putnam, CT 06260.
Project Northeast serves people in need throughout northeastern Connecticut, including the towns of Brooklyn, Eastford, Hampton, Killingly, Plainfield, Pomfret, Putnam, Sterling, Thompson and Woodstock.
