Performing Arts Aid
Performing Arts of NE CT hosted its spring benefit, Swing into Spring with “Flowers & Flutes,” at the home of Peter and Sharon Cooper recently. Central to the mission of Performing Arts are the annual Children’s Programs presented free of charge to over 4,000 school children. The 2012 professional performances at the Hyde Cultural Center are The Magic Flute performed by the Salt March Opera and American Salute presented by the New Haven Symphony Orchestra. Each performance is preceded by a professional in-school performance with supporting educational materials. Donations can be mailed to Performing Arts of NE CT, P.O.
