The Putnam High School SADD group recently sponsored the appearance of John Morello, "DIRT", a national comedian to perform for the entire student body to discuss and act out various destructive decisions such as, using drugs and alcohol, bullying/teasing, suicide, depression, etc. SADD's Lisa Sousa Mooney, MSW, school social worker, said Morello educated students in a funny and capturing way to spread awareness on the dangers of destructive decisions. In its first year last year SADD group had 12 students; this year there are 24. Courtesy photo.
