Golf Tourney
PUTNAM --- The Ronald P. Coderre Putnam Rotary Ronald P. Coderre Golf Tournament fund-raiser will be held at the Connecticut National Golf course. The 18-hole scramble style tournament will begin with registration starting at 7:30 a.m. and a shotgun start at 9. Awards and closing ceremonies are at 1:30. For information  call 860-928-0811.

Fund-raiser BBQ

Bottle Drive
DAYVILLE --- Pet Pals Northeast, a local animal rescue organization, will be collecting redeemable bottles and cans to help homeless and needy animals from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Wibberley Tire, junction of routes 12 and 101. POMFRET --- The Windham Tolland 4-H Camp Open House will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. June 2 and 3 at the camp on Taft Pond road. From 1:30 to 2 p.m. June 2 is apparent panel. Camp starts June 24.

PAWS Fund-raiser
THOMPSON --- Pound Animals are Worth Saving, Inc. (PAWS) will hold a fund-raiser from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Raceway Restaurant with light refreshments, music, auction. Benefits PAWS animal shelter for cats and kittens in Woodstock, adjacent to Windy Acres Florist. $20 -  and can be purchased at the door or at Windy Acres.
