POMFRET --- The Connecticut Audubon Society at Pomfret will host an exhibit of paintings by Amy Bartlett Wright at the Grassland Bird Conservation Center on Day Road through June 15. Percentage of sales benefits the center. 928-4948.

WOODSTOCK --- The dedication of the 'Z Rock & Rain Garden' will be at 6:30 p.m. June 8 at Palmer Memorial Hall/Palmer Arboretum. Reception follows. The garden is a tribute to the late Doug Zimmerman. Feel free to bring a special rock from your home or travels to add to the garden. 963-0288.
History Program

Concert Fund-raiser
PUTNAM --- The sixth annual Particle Accelerator concert will be held from noon to 11 p.m. at Rotary Park. All genres of music. Free. All welcome. Open House
WOODSTOCK --- As part of Connecticut Open House Day, Fairvue Farms on Rt. 171 will hold an open house and farm tour from noon to 3 p.m. Guided tractor trailer tours of the barns and see the cows being milked. Ice cream, milk and cookies provided by The Farmers Cow. Free.

DANIELSON --- The annual Greek Festival will be held from 1 a.m. to 10 .m. at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church on Water Street. Food, entertainment and more. Free.

THOMPSON --- The Bible Fellowship Church on Rt. 131 is offering another “Car Care Day” for single ladies by appointment.
