POMFRET — At Rectory School’s recent graduation ceremony, Frederick W. Williams, headmaster, told the graduates: “You, Class of 2012, leave here and you do so full of life, optimism, and confidence. Never let these qualities fade, and make the most out of the adulthood you move to embrace. Your opportunities are abundant, your potential boundless, and the wonderful fingerprints you have left here are firmly imprinted in Rectory’s memory.”
Williams thanked the graduating students for leaving their imprint on the life of Rectory’s community with their leadership, compassion, and spirit in the classroom, in the arts, and athletics. Families from many countries including China, Korea, Japan, Mexico, Nigeria, Taiwan, India, and Haiti, ventured to Pomfret to celebrate their son’s and daughter’s successes.
Congratulations were extended to the following local Rectory students: Megan Grace Bastow (Pomfret), Tessa Bloomer (Scotland), Nicolas Richard Burdick-Chapel (Hampton), Anastasia Demetra Carafotas (Sutton, Mass.), Trent William Guevremont (Dayville), Christopher John Lannan (Putnam), Elizabeth Aylward Lippke (Canterbury), Grayson Price McCarthy (Pomfret Center), Poojan P.
