WILLIMANTIC --- Amina Hosaini '14 of Dayville and Daasha Mallory '14 of Dayville are members of the FEMALES club at Eastern Connecticut State University. and took part in a fund-raising walk for Crohn's and Colitis, an event to raise awareness about obesity and a trip to New York City. They are both majoring in pre-social work. The FEMALES club promotes unity, leadership and sisterhood among women attending Eastern Connecticut State University by means of sponsoring and attending workshops, lectures, seminars, local and national conventions. Graduates
ROCHESTER, N.Y. --- Jason Stanislawski of Dayville graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a bachelor's in computer engineering from RIT's Kate Gleason College of Engineering in fall 2011.
On dean's list
ITHACA, N.Y. --- Cornell University's Dylan Rapoport of Woodstock has been placed on the dean's list of the College of Arts and Sciences for Excellence in Scholarship for the fall 2011 semester.

WILLIMANTIC --- Trevor May '12 of Pomfret Center, is a member of the Music Society at Eastern Connecticut State University. May is a communication major. Ariel Pelletier '13 of Putnam, is a member of Habitat for Humanity at Eastern Connecticut State University. Pelletier is majoring in pre-social work. Garrett Berthiaume '15 of Thompson, is a member of the Honors Club. He is a computer science major. Mark Sheldon '13 of Eastford, is a member of the Accounting Society . He is majoring in accounting.
The Eastern Outdoors Club includes: Cindy Benoit '12 of Pomfret Center, a history major; Evan Meshberg '15 of Danielson, a computer science major; and Calvin Underwood '13 of Woodstock, an environmental earth sciences major.
Abroad
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. --- Gabriella Bucci of Woodstock, spent the spring 2012 trimester abroad studying art history, visual arts and Italian language in Florence, Italy. Bucci is a sophomore mathematics major.
