SMITHFIELD, R.I. --- The spring semester Dean's List at Bryant University includes the following local residents: Antonio Carabina, a sophomore in Spanish from Woodstock; Nicholas Danforth, a sophomore in actuarial mathematics from Woodstock Valley; Niles Deary, a sophomore in entrepreneurship from Thompson; Jason Fortin, a senior in global studies: global politics track from Pomfret Center; Chelsea Greene, a senior in applied psychology from Putnam; Noel Hall, a sophomore from Thompson; Nathan Kacerik, a first-year in applied mathematics and statistics from Pomfret Center; Matthew Marcotte, a sophomore in management from Dayville.

WORCESTER --- The following local residents graduated May 12, 2012, from Worcester Polytechnic Institute: Daniel Cotnoir of Putnam, was awarded a bachelor's in biochemistry; Sadie Josephs of Pomfret Center was awarded a bachelor's in biochemistry with distinction.
