THOMPSON — Nov. 11 more than 300 runners and walkers participated in The Citizens National Bank 5K Cross Country Turkey Trot and Wobbles. 
Overall race winner and top male finisher was Brian Gracia, who completed the course in a time of 18:24.  The top overall female trophy went to Kate Boshka, who competed in the 10-13 age group.  The team award went to the Woodstock Middle School Cross Country team. 
Awards were also given to: Team with the largest number of walking participants (Team TEEG); Walking group who raised the most in pledges (The Citizens National Bank Team); Individual walker who raised the most in pledges (Laura Fournier); Runner who raised the most in pledges (Ryan Barbour); Best costume award went to Donna Grant’s 3-week old granddaughter Alexa for her turkey tutu outfit.
Proceeds go to the Thompson Ecumenical Empowerment Group’s Food Bank, Thompson Trails, and Thompson’s parks and playgrounds.
