THOMPSON — Senior Greg Senat of Elmont, N.Y., recently signed with Wagner College in Staten Island, N.Y.
Senat, a power forward, is in his second season at Marianapolis. Last year he had a record of 8.9 points per game and 8.4 rebounds per game. This year his record stands at 9.4 points per game and 9.2 rebounds per game.
Senat said he is excited to bring “a lot of energy, rebounding and inside scoring presence as well as the ability to shoot from the outside” to the Wagner NCAA Division 1 team. “They have a young but talented team and it is somewhere I can see myself making a definite impact,” Senat said. Senat’s coach Andrew Vitale said that Senat “had a great summer playing for Metro Boston AAU. He has been working really hard on his conditioning and his body. He has spent a lot of time in the weight room and time with his coach from home, Navro Allen. I couldn’t be happier for him.”
