KINGSTON, R.I. — Two local students earned master’s degrees at the University of Rhode Island’s 129th Commencement in May: 

Caasi Baima of Chepachet, received a Master of Science in Nursing; Emma E Morton of Chepachet, received a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology.

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. — Ciara Hanlon of Woodstock was named to the Binghamton University Dean’s List for the Spring 2015 semester.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — Lyndsey N. St. Jean of Pascoag, has been inducted into the Western New England University chapter of Mortar Board, a national honor society. St. Jean is majoring in Industrial Engineering - Five-year Bachelor at the University.

RINDGE, N.H. — Sarah E. LeNoir of Danielson graduated from Franklin Pierce University in the spring of 2015 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.

WILLIMANTIC — Vicgtoria Szamocki, ’15, of Thompson was one of a number of students from Eastern Connecticut State University who traveled to Idaho and Wyoming as part of a geological field excursion. She majored in Environmental Earth Science.

Graduates

WORCESTER — Worcester Academy held its 181st Commencement Exercises June 5, 2015,  with 184 seniors graduating - including students representing 25 different nations. Among the graduates was Christopher Lannan of Pascoag.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Peter Joseph Boguszewski, a senior majoring in chemical engineering at the University of Rochester, has been named to the Dean’s List for academic achievement for the spring 2015 semester. Boguszewski, a resident of Putnam, is the child of Lisa Boguszewski and Michael Boguszewski, and a graduate of Marianapolis Prep School in Thompson.
