Food drive for Project Northeast
scheduled for March 23
PUTNAM — There will be a food drive for northeastern Connecticut’s many needy, from 8 a.m. to noon March 23 at the Cargill K of C Hall, Providence Street.
Sponsored by Boy Scout Troop 21 and the Knights of Columbus, all proceeds will benefit the non-profit, ecumenical, non-denominational Project Northeast, to assist anyone in need throughout all of northeastern Connecticut.
Please bring your non-perishable food items and monetary donations, to help your neighbors in need.
If you can’t get there in person, then please mail your check now, made out to “Project Northeast,” to Fr. Richard Archambault, Project Northeast, 81 Church Street, Putnam, CT 06260
