Boxcar opening
PUTNAM — The Gertrude Chandler Warner Boxcar Children Museum will open for the 2013 season May 4. Museum hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. It is open for field trips and for those only in town on weekdays by appointment. Admission is always free and volunteers are always welcomed. For information, call 860-984-1832 or 860-928-5312.
