Life-saving Effort
Day Kimball Hospital was recognized by LifeChoice Donor Services for their “leadership, commitment and dedication to saving lives every day,” which resulted in exceptional tissue donation rates for 2012. In addition to maintaining a 100 percent referral rate to LifeChoice for the third year in a row, the hospital had a 50 percent tissue conversion rate for 2012 compared to LifeChoice’s overall rate of 37 percent.
