No exotic

dancers planned

PUTNAM --- Palmieris Pizza, in the Riverfront Shopping Plaza, has no intention of adding exotic dancers, according to co-owner Danielle Jacques.

Because the pizza restaurant wanted to add entertainment, the state required them to post a legal notice for that entertainment. Jacques said that the permit form sent from the state listed DJ, exotic dancers and acoustic music. "The permit came that way from the state," she said.

"We have no plans whatsoever to have exotic dancers," she said. The business is interested in adding DJs, kareoke or a live band (not amplified).

According to the town's zoning regulations, exotic dancing is not an allowed use.
