Fun Run

W. THOMPSON --- The West Thompson Dam Fun Run will start  MAY FOURTEEN and run through Sept. 17 on Wednesdays starting at the West Thompson Dam entrance on Ravenelle Road.  'Our Town'

POMFRET --- The Drama Department at Pomfret School will present "Our Town" at 8 p.m. May 9 and May 10 in the Hard Auditorium. Free. Public welcome.

 

Spring Celebration

BROOKLYN --- The Brooklyn Federated Church is having a Spring Celebration.  There will be a pancake and sausage breakfast from 8:30 to 10 a.m. The annual plant and yard sale will be from 9 a.m. to noon. Pens made from the historic Copper Beech Tree will also be on sale. 

 

Quest Program

Charity Performance

Hat Show Fund-raiser

Food Drive

PUTNAM & THOMPSON --- The National Association of Letter Carriers will hold its annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive today in Putnam and in Thompson. Postal patrons are asked to leave out nonperishable foods for mail carrier pickup. Food collected in Putnam will go to Daily Bread. Food collected in Thompson will go to TEEG.

 

Tag Sale

PUTNAM --- Boy Scout Troop 27 is holding a tag sale from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Putnam Farmer's Market on Kennedy Drive. Benefits the Troop’s funds for summer camp.  Rain or shine.
