Fun Run

Trails Day
THOMPSON --- Connecticut Trails Day will be held in Thompson today when Thompson hosts a Trail Day Hike, sponsored by Thompson Trails Committee and Thompson Recreation.  Enjoy a walk to the Tri-State Marker - the place where Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island meet.  See a pre-colonial stone chamber and an arch tunnel and visit the site of the Great Dec. 4, 1891 East Thompson Train Wreck and the Southbridge local turnaround.  The walk is approximately 2 miles of moderate difficulty and runs from 10 a.m. to noon.
