Scarecrow Contest
PUTNAM --- The 7th Annual Scarecrow Contest will be held Oct. 24 as part of the Great Pumpkin Festival around downtown Putnam. Entries for the contest are welcome. Application and rules available at WINY Radio station or the Arc Emporium on Main Street or by calling 774-2827. 
 
Harvest Fair
PUTNAM --- The Congregational Church of Putnam, downtown, will present Harvest Fair and Luncheon from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. It is part of the Putnam Pumpkin Fall Festival. Luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Proceeds shared with community charities. 860-928-4405.
