PUTNAM - Do you provide care or support for a loved one - a parent, grandparent, spouse, child, grandchild, relative or friend? Do you work caring for others as a nurse, counselor, teacher or service professional? Do you sometimes struggle with compassion fatigue? Do you feel stressed, overwhelmed, emotionally burned out, weary, discouraged or exhausted? If you answered yes, the new Quiet Corner Caregiver’s Support Group can help.
Beginning March 1, the group will meet at St. Philip’s Church, 63 Grove St. from 7 to 8:30 p.m.  Tuesdays. The group is free. Participants are encouraged to come the weeks they can. There will be light refreshments and fellowship at 6:30 p.m.
Experienced facilitators will lead the group providing resource information, positive self-care training and a communications network. The meeting room is downstairs at the rear of the church off Pleasant Street. For more information call 860-928-3510 or email This email address is being protected from spambots.
