N. GROSVENORDALE — The CT Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) is taking applications for the 2016-2017 heating season. The program runs from Nov. 15 to March 15.
Residents of Woodstock, Thompson and Pomfret, if you are a senior citizen or homebound disabled member of the community, call TEEG (860-923-3458) to see if you qualify for the CT Energy Assistance Program.
Applying for CEAP is the FIRST step in winter fuel assistance. If you have exhausted your benefits through the CEAP program (or were denied due to asset or income guidelines) and are still having trouble meeting your heating needs, both seniors and non-seniors alike can call TEEG at 860-923-3458 to discuss other fuel options.
If you are not a resident of the Thompson, Woodstock or Pomfret then you can call the Access Agency in Danielson (860-412-1600) to schedule an appointment for assistance.
