The first installment of taxes, due to the Town of Putnam, Special Service District, East Putnam Fire District and West Putnam District on the Grand List of October 1, 2016, is due and payable on July 1, 2017 through August 1, 2017.
TO AVOID INTEREST CHARGES, MAIL MUST
BE POSTMARKED NO LATER THAN AUGUST 1, 2017
Payments made after August 1ST 2017 will be subject to an interest charge of 3% (1.5% per month) or $2.00 minimum per Town and $2.00 per Special Service District, East Putnam Fire District and West Putnam District (where applicable), whichever is higher, according to Connecticut State Statute, Sec. 12-146.
Online payments can be made on current Grand List bills at the Town of Putnam website - www.putnamct.us after July 1, 2017.

Zoning Commission
The Town of Putnam Zoning Commission held a meeting on June 21, 2017, at 7:00 P.M. at the Putnam Middle School Cafeteria located at 35 Wicker Street a.k.a  Israel Putnam Way, Putnam, CT.  The public hearing on the following was CONTINUED TO JULY 19, 2017, to be held at the Putnam Town Hall.
Docket # 2017-05: Spicer Road Realty, LLC — Request for a Special Permit in accordance with Section 304, Table III-1 “Schedule of Uses and Districts” and Section 607 “Excavation” and associated waivers in accordance with Section 114.C., 114.C.1, 114.C.2 and 114.D of the Town of Putnam Zoning Regulation for earth removal of 236,000+/- C.Y. of gravel to be conducted in three phases.  Access is proposed via a private haul road.  Property noted by Location Town Assessor’s Map 34, Lot 9, (827 Providence Pike), Map 34, Lot 7, (873 Providence Pike), Map 35, Lot 5, (832 Five Mile River Road)., Zoned AG-2.
