In addition, Ron is the owner and president of “RPC Associates,” a philanthropic business in Putnam that recently raised $3 million to build the new Hale YMCA Youth and Family Center. - A dream of Betty & Laurence Hale’s memorializing the late Newell Hale… and likely a dream that wouldn’t have come true without Ron’s hard work, leadership, influence and the trust that the people of northeastern CT have in him.
Whenever Ron is involved with an organization, any organization, he is “all in” and takes great pride in the work he is doing. While Ron certainly has his own way of doing things, you always know where he stands on issues and you would be hard pressed to find a person with more love for the people of northeastern CT and his community. It is for these reasons that the committee selected Ron Coderre for the Chamber’s 2018 Civic Achievement Award.
