PUTNAM — Melissa Hendrickson was named Putnam Bank’s Employee of the Month for September 2019. She has been with the bank since September 2007, and currently serves as Griswold branch manager.
Hendrickson said: “I was completely surprised and honored to be nominated for this award. I work with a great staff that makes coming to work easy. I love being part of an organization that gives back so much to our community.”
She is an active member of the Greater Norwich Area Chamber of Commerce BizEd committee. She participates in community events such as the Quinebaug Valley Regional Rotaract Club’s Cornhole Tournament and Trivia Night, as well as Griswold’s Snowflake Festival & Parade and Spooktopia! Trunk or Treat. She was the team captain of Putnam Bank’s NOW Road Race & Walk team. She also served as a committee member for both the NOW Road Race & Walk, and Taste of NOW events. Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband John, her fur baby Holly May, family, and friends. She likes traveling, camping, going on adventures, and watching the Patriots win.
