Acorn Adventure
WOODSTOCK --- The Last Green Valley will present Acorn Adventure – Bald Eagles and Big Nests at 10 a.m. at Roseland Park. Bring binoculars or a spotting scope if you have them. Fund-raiser Concert
POMFRET --- Howie Bursen, John Bailey, Martin Grosswendt and Bennett Hammond return to the Vanilla Bean Café at 7:30 p.m. for their 28th performing to benefit Access’s Northeast Connecticut Food Pantries. $20. Last year the concert raised more than $1,000. 860-412-1600.

Healing Service
BROOKLYN ---A Christian Healing Service will be held at 2 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church on Providence Road. Prayer teams will be available to pray with individuals for physical, emotional and spiritual healing. The service will include praise and worship music at a celebration of the Eucharist.
