scholarships
for seniors/grads
Applications are now open for the 2020 Putnam Rotary Club Scholarship program.
An applicant must be a senior in good standing or a graduate who has not yet enrolled at a college or university and has or is attending one of the following schools: Putnam High, Putnam Science Academy, Tourtellotte Memorial High School, The Woodstock Academy, Marianapolis, Pomfret School, H.H. Ellis Tech, Quinebaug Valley Middle College, ACT Magnet School Willimantic or Vocational AG School at Killingly High.
Applicants must be resident of Eastford, Pomfret, Putnam, Thompson or Woodstock.
Children and grandchildren of Putnam Rotary Club members are not eligible.

The deadline is April 1.
You will receive a reply within two days that the club received your application.
Should you be awarded a scholarship you are expected to attend the Rotary Night of Recognition at 6 p.m. May 12 at the QVCC Auditorium.
The actual scholarship will be disbursed upon validation of successful enrollment in a post-graduate academic institute by the end of November 2020.
Some scholarships will be awarded on the basis of community service; some based on academics and some will be need based.
