PUTNAM — Lee Poitras has been named Putnam Bank’s Employee of the Year for 2019. She has been with the bank since August 1976, and is currently the Deposit Operations manager.
She volunteers for the NECT Cancer Fund Walk & Race, Northeast Opportunities for Wellness Road Race & Walk. She is also involved with the Bowdish Lake Association. In her free time she enjoys kayaking, paddle boarding and flower gardening. She especially enjoys traveling on vacation to tropical locations with her husband, Glenn, their favorites being Hawaii and Key West.
“To describe Lee as a long-term staff member is an understatement. Lee is the most senior tenured member of our team. Lee has served the bank well through the years and has actively participated in so much of what we have collectively done to make eastern Connecticut a better place to work and live. Lee is a well-respected member of our team, and serves as an inspiration to us all.” said Thomas Borner, Putnam Bank president and CEO.

20 Years of Service: Linda Brule. 15 Years of Service: Robert Halloran, Raymond Perry, Jonathan Demers, Pauline Audette, Angelica Gallegos.10 Years of Service: Rebecca Branch. 5 Years of Service: Laura Stuba, Kimberli Long, William Solomon.  Recognized for receiving Center for Financial Training Award Certificates: Amy Day, Briana Ducharme, Melissa Hendrickson, Joyce McOsker, Jaimini Patel, Jessica Reed, and Laura Stuba.
