Brayden Cutler, a senior at Tourtellotte Memorial High School was recently elected president of the Putnam Rotary Club’s Interact Club. He is a National Honor Society member, a Tri-M Music Honor Society member, a member of the TMHS concert band, a peer tutor, and the captain of the indoor track, outdoor track, and cross country teams. Cutler is planning on majoring in political science.
At the Interact Induction, he said: “I would like to see the Interact Club continue with the bell ringing for our local Salvation Army in December, and I participate in the Relay For Life. I would also like to do many other events that would help our community here in northeastern Connecticut, and help with the Special Olympics.”
The Interact Club will resume its monthly meetings the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month beginning in September.
The Putnam Regional Interact Club is open to students from schools in Thompson, Woodstock, Pomfret, Putnam, grades 7 - 12. For more information about the Interact Club contact Roberta Rocchetti at 860-933-8603.
