Human Resources & Payroll Director
The Town of Putnam is seeking applicants for the position of full time Human Resources and Payroll Director in the Town Administration Office.
Position Summary:
The Town of Putnam is seeking a Human Resources and Payroll Director. This position will report to the Town Administrator, and will coordinate with the Mayor and various Town Committees including the Town Government Committee.  Required Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited 4-year college or university with major course work in public administration, business administration, or related field: and at least 5 to 10 years’ experience in public or private human resources and benefits management; or any equivalent combination of training and experience. Depending on experience, expected annual salary of $45,000 to $55,000. This full time position is a 35 hour per week position.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
This job operates in a professional office environment with occasional related field work. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
