PUTNAM — The Centreville Bank Charitable Foundation has awarded funding to and Northeast Placement Services, Inc., (NEPS) in S. Woodstock and Madonna Place in Norwich.
Harold M. Horvat, bank president, CEO and chairman, said: “We recognize the critical services that Madonna Place and NEPS provide to the local community. We hope that this support helps to sustain these organizations’ outreach efforts, particularly with the dedicated programs to help those impacted by the pandemic and others in developing new skills.”
The Northeast Placement Services, Inc. grant will be directed to help build an education and training center to increase the knowledge and skill-base of differently abled adults in the organization’s Lawn and Janitorial Program. The funds provided to Madonna Place will be used to provide basic needs to families impacted by COVID-19.
Centreville Bank owns Putnam Bank, which operates eight offices in eastern Connecticut.
